Arts for Art is rapidly expanding our efforts to raise awareness of avantjazz through our presentation, education and capacity building efforts. We have become especially busy as we take on our next challenge: The search for a building which can serve as a Center for Innovative Music and Art.

As we take on these challenges it is important to work with young people who are interested in building a career that makes an impact on the innovative musical culture on New York City. We feel it is vital and essential to the realization of our long term goals that we pass our understanding and experience on to those who can become valuable players in the effort to maintain an atmosphere which fosters the creation of artistic work in New York City.

We are especially interested in working with people who can serve as Office Assistants and Event Coordinators. Tasks include graphic design work, marketing and publicity, bookkeeping and budget maintenance, and assistance in the running of our various events.
